I made myself – Emeka Ike
By Nwosu Kingsley

Debunking popular opinions as to his source of income and wealth, actor-turned producer Emeka Ike has stated in unambiguous terms that his financial status reflected in his business outfit along Adeniran Ogunsanya, can only be attributed to hard work. Contrary to talks that he was being funded by his uncle, Ike stresses “I worked for everything you see here. Hard work and planning. Say someone gave me …what? Let me say this publicly, I have never received beyond fifty thousand naira , when it comes to gifts, not from anyone. Say I have worked for every single penny you see here”.

The actor who was leasing out cameras and equipment during the period he was banned, till now, maintains that the ban was more of a blessing to him, stating: “It showed me other areas I can explore. I learnt a lot. Things I had overlooked”. Beyond leasing out production equipment and running a film-editing suite, Emeka is set to go into movie and music production and marketing, too. After the “ban” , Emeka Ike has featured in three separate movies which he said are outstanding deals delayed by his “ban”.

With these however critics and fans of the talented actress who had been in doubt of the actress’s career can once be rest assured that their darling girl is still a force to be reckoned with.
